Over the years my depression was debilitating at times, but because my personality was an overachieving perfectionist, I didn’t allow myself to slow down long enough to feel or process it at times. I hid behind going non-stop, performing, shopping, wine, and different things to cope with anxiety and depression. I would go go go, and then crash and not be able to leave my bed! I knew that God had more for me, but I didn’t know how to get there!

Years ago, I started therapy and began my journey of surrendering to God. Surrendering my future. Surrendering my hopes and dreams. Surrendering my fears, failures, and even my depression. Once I started surrendering to God, my freedom began.

What if God has more for you!? What if God wants you to live in His freedom? What if God’s power frees you from your depression so that you can live in peace, joy, and the abundant life God promises. He does! He will! God’s promises are for us, and it starts today!
