We are back in the swing of things post holidays, and one of our new year goals this year is to pay off debt and SAVE during our debt payoff process. Some would say you should not save while paying off debt, BUT Dave Ramsey does recommend putting money aside in sinking funds for tires, Home Owner Association fees, birthdays, taxes, etc. (I talk more about Sinking Funds here).
